MA Student: Medieval South Asian Art
Usha Rahn is an MA Art History student who is studying South Asian art. Her research interest lies in early Medieval South Asian art, as well as the transmission of South Asian culture to the rest of the world during this period. She is also fascinated by the ways historical sites in southern Asia, both religious and secular, are used in contemporary contexts. She received her BA in Art History with a minor in anthropology from the University of Georgia in 2018. She interned at the Georgia Museum of Art for a little over a year, and has presented original research in UGA's 2018 Music & Arts Research Symposium.
