Sarah Davis received her B.A. from the University of New Orleans in Art History. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as an assistant at the Michalopoulos Gallery leading to her solo curatorial debut for James Michalopoulos’s work in 2018 during New Orleans Prospect 4, a citywide contemporary art triennial celebration of New Orleans. While pursuing her graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, she focussed on contemporary art in America that deals with issues like sexuality, image, and gender. Key engagements included consent in photography, and the role images play in our current state of rape culture and the Me Too movement.
