About
Honors Graduate Jacqueline Valdez was awarded the 2020 John D. McNee Art History Scholarship by UIC's Department of Art History. She completed an undergraduate thesis titled "A Tour of Taste: The American Dream in Yvette Mayorga's High Maintenance Series," and she presented this research at the Art History Department Symposium in May 2020. As complements to her BA degree in Art History, she completed dual minors in Anthropology and Museum and Exhibitions Studies. She is the Marketing and Programs Intern at D.VaRELLI Gallery in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
