Grace Spaulding is a PhD student in Art History at the University of Illinois Chicago whose work bridges art history, archives, rare book collections, and medical humanities. Grace has worked extensively in archives and collections management through the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s McGoogan Health Sciences Library Special Collections and Archives, where she contributed to oral history research, preservation initiatives, and exhibition installation. Her research and presentations explore intersections of art, medicine, and cultural memory across academic and caregiving spaces.
