Michael is an aspiring interior designer who is currently an interior design intern at Kate Taylor Interiors. He graduated from UIC with a BA in Art History with his primary research being in Modern European Art, focusing on Interior Scenes. During his time at UIC, Michael held positions as an art history student ambassador, a student aide in the Special Collections department of the Richard J Daley Library as well as a position as stock associate at Serena and Lily. During his Junior year at UIC he completed a collaborative research project with Prof. Martha Pollak titled, "Early Twentieth Century Interiors as Seen Through the Paintings of Walter Gay: A Paring Down of Decoration in Search of Authenticity Post Victoriana." Through studying art history, Michael has deepened his interest in interiors and their history as well as the transcendence of interiors throughout time.
