Martha Pollak named inaugural Circle Professor of Art History
Professor Martha Pollak, Chair of the Department of Art History, has been named inaugural Circle Professor of Art History.
Created in February 2019 for the Department of Art History, in the College of Architecture, Design and the Arts, with an endowment by a Chicago-based charitable Foundation that wishes to remain anonymous, the Circle Professorship, referencing the historical name and location of the UIC campus, will support faculty research and graduate education in Art History.
