Emmanuel Ortega is named as Marilynn Thoma Scholar in Art of the Spanish Americas
The Carl & Marilynn Thoma Art Foundation has made a generous gift to UIC's College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts, creating a clinical professorship in the Arts of the Spanish Americas. Emmanuel Ortega, who has been a Visiting Assistant Professor in our department since 2018, has been named as the first Marilynn Thoma Scholar in Art of the Spanish Americas.
