Our alumna Deepthi Murali (PhD, 2020) warmly invites you to the in-person and online launch event for Connecting Threads, a collaborative digital history project on the study of Madras textile histories in India and the Caribbean. At the event we will share our new research and related digital resources. The symposium program includes a global group of leading fashion and textile historians, designers, and practitioners who will share their work through papers, object studies, demonstrations, and panel discussions.
